Rowena Jackson Retirement Village
We were required to repair some surface water ponding on the paving, and low lying wet areas at the Retirement Village.
These repairs needed to be done efficiently and with as little disruption as possible. We were able to prevent damage to existing turf by laying plywood under our machinery, and made every effort to leave the place immaculate once we were finished.
Preventing Damage
Digging trench with a machine on plywood to prevent damaging existing turf
Reduce surface water ponding
Nova Flo laid in the trench on a bed of free draining gravel, then backfilled with the same free draining gravel
Reduce surface water ponding
New surface water sump collecting water from newly installed Nova Flo
Completed job - no disruption
Turf reinstated upon completion of the job. Weed mat is laid on top of the gravel before the turf is reinstated, this is to prevent silt infiltrating the free draining gravel.
